What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a site. The same
rules apply to comparable technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage
and pixels, and this policy covers all of them.
Consent
Cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have expressly requested do not require consent. Every other cookie is installed only after you accept it.
Nothing beyond the strictly necessary category is set before you choose. Refusing is as easy as accepting: the banner offers “Accept analytics” and “Reject optional” together, continuing to browse is not treated as consent, and there are no cookie walls. Your choice is stored for a maximum of 24 months, after which we ask again.
You may change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the site footer, Account settings → Privacy in the application, or Cookie settings on its login page.

Strictly necessary
Keep you signed in, protect the session against cross-site request forgery, balance load across servers and remember your cookie choice itself. Without these the Service cannot function. No consent required.

Preferences
Remember interface choices such as appearance so you do not set them again on each visit. Optional preferences require consent. When you explicitly select a language, the language cookie is necessary to remember the service preference you requested and is set only when you make that selection.

Analytics
With your consent, Latest Effects measures pages viewed, traffic sources, calls to action and signups with its own event tracking and Google Analytics 4. Google receives analytics events from your browser. We do not send names or email addresses to Analytics or use its advertising personalization features. Consent is required separately on the website and application.
Google Analytics cookies expire up to 12 months after the last visit. Our own analytics identifiers remain until consent expires, you reject analytics or you clear browser storage.
Advertising
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not share data with advertising networks.

Analytics tags run on each site only after you accept analytics there. A GA cookie created on one subdomain can be available on the other, but that site’s tag does not send events before its own consent. The application also uses the following storage for requested services:

Third parties
Where a cookie is set by a processor acting for us, that provider is listed in the Privacy Policy. Those providers may not use the data for their own purposes.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may stop parts of the Service from working, in particular staying signed in.
